Aga Reflective radiation shield will save up to 25% of oven energy which would otherwise radiate to the room from the oven door. If you need the heat to the room (Winter) simply remove it and store.

How to use the Aga reflective radiation shield: Simply open the oven door and place against the left or right side of the oven. It is not an exact fit (it doesn’t need to be) as it is made to fit most Aga’s manufactured since 1942 to present day. If you place it central there is a possibility that it could jam against the inner frame as it expands due to the heat. If it does jam it is easy to remove either with a slight tug or spray some cold water where it is touching the cast oven.
When in place it will reflect heat radiation before hitting the back of the oven door, this will reduce the outer oven door temperature by up to 25%, resulting in less heat to the kitchen and more energy retained within the oven and help to lower your running costs.
The effectiveness of the shield will be reduced if it is allowed to become coated with cooking residues, this can be easily cleaned off with warm soapy water or oven cleaning spray. To make life simple, remove whilst cooking and replace Once you have finished
